CleverPsych Reminding Clients

A large number of our clients do not show up for their appointments, so we send everyone a reminder, usually the night before. The system will automatically remind the clients via SMS if they have a mobile phone number, and fall back to any entered Email address if they dont.

The text that is sent is generated using a template file that you can edit. For example:

Your next appointment with PSYCHOLOGIST_FIRST_NAME is on APPOINTMENT_DAY APPOINTMENT_DATE at APPOINTMENT_TIME.

Please reply if you cannot attend or call PSYCHOLOGIST_FIRST_NAME on PSYCHOLOGIST_MOBILE.

You can also send a second reminder to those clients who regularly fail to attend, just before the appointment.

If you specify several mobile numbers for the client a reminder will go to each. We use this to advise mothers when the client is a teenager, or a client's parole officer etc
